Sukha "(Placer_Atardecer), is the title of the new long-play album by Puna. In the album they fuse styles like noise pop_ambient shoegaze_dream pop dub_ abstract pop thus reproducing minimal and ethereal landscapes that give life to the production "Sukha".
There are 11 tracks recorded and edited by Puna on Chip Musik Records with the support of Dorog Records.

The album begins with an intro where an extract from the voice of Jorge Eduardo Eielson is sampled, reading his poems "Albergo del Sole II" from Room in Rome and "Cuerpo En Exilio", in honor of the Peruvian poet multidisciplinary genius. Tracks 2, 4 and 8 were recorded in the Absinthe studio and providing support to the mix Ankalli Neto. The bass on track 9 was recorded by Rolando Apolo.

"Conceiving this record has been a whole process of struggle against time / life and the system itself. Sukha is an uncommon name, which in Sanskrit and Pali means pleasure, tranquility, happiness. "Sukha" is reaching a state of calm to achive concentration and meditative absorptions. "Sukha" in Quechua translates as sunset. These two meanings merged together and gave name to our album titled "Sukha" (Placer_Atardecer) ".
Puna (2019)

Puna emerged in 2008 in the district of Pueblo Libre, Lima Peru. After a series of Lo Fi recordings within independent electronic music scene, they fused styles such as the ethhereal noise pop shoegaze, to edit 2 eps "Medio Día en la Luna" (2010) and "Madrugada Del Fin" (2011). After having composed several songs and experimenting with sounds and oscillators, minimal landscapes for live sound, concerts, festivals organized by cultural centers related to art, electronics and with a new line-up in the band, they present their first album titled "Au dial" in 2014, under the Dorog Records label. In 2017 they release "Rare Tracks" with electronic music label Chip Musik Records, where they present a compilation of the first songs of the band never before released and that would be included in Puna's first album. Currently they present "Sukha" (2019) incorporating new musicians from the Peruvian experimental electronic scene.

"Our creation is infinite, we are influenced by the sounds of nature, the landscapes and the fog of the peruvian Puna, as well as the streets, the sound pollution of the noisy cities, by poetry, music, the plastic arts, the recycled technology, our history and experiences, as well as the creation and the exploration of devices and electronic machines with which we will fight to set our selfs free".

“Sukha” (Placer_Atardecer), es el título del nuevo disco de larga duración del grupo Puna. En el álbum fusionan estilos como el noise pop_ambient shoegaze_dream pop dub_ abstract pop así reproduciendo paisajes minimales y ethereos que dan vida a la producción “Sukha”.
Son 11 tracks grabados y editados por Puna en Chip Musik Records con el respaldo de Dorog Records.

El disco empieza con un intro donde se samplea un extracto de la voz de Jorge Eduardo Eielson leyendo sus poemas “Albergo del Sole II” de Habitación en Roma y “Cuerpo En Exilio”, en honor al genio multidisciplinario poeta peruano. Los tracks 2, 4 y 8 fueron grabados en el estudio Absenta y en el soporte de la mezcla Ankalli Neto. El track 9 el bajo es grabado por Rolando Apolo.

“Concebir este disco ha sido todo un proceso de lucha contra el tiempo/vida y el sistema. Sukha es un nombre poco común, que en sanscrito y pali significa placer, tranquilidad, felicidad. “Sukha” es un estado de calma para llegar a la concentración y a las absorciones meditativas. "Sukha" en quechua se traduce como atardecer. Estos dos significados se fusionaron y dieron nombre a nuestro álbum titulado “Sukha” (Placer_Atardecer)”.
Puna (2019)

Puna surgió en el 2008 en el distrito de Pueblo Libre, Lima Perú. Después de una serie de grabaciones Lo Fi dentro de la música electrónica independiente, fusionaron estilos como el ethereal noise pop shoegaze, para así editar 2 eps "Medio Día en la Luna" (2010) y "Madrugada Del Fin" (2011). Luego de varios temas compuestos y experimentar con sonidos y osciladores, paisajes minimales para sonorizaciones en vivo, conciertos, festivales organizados por centros culturales relacionados al arte, la electrónica y tras una nueva conformación en la banda, presentan su primer álbum titulado "Au dial" en el 2014, bajo el sello Dorog Records. En el 2017 editan “Rare Tracks” junto a sello de música electrónica Chip Musik Records, donde presentan una recopilación de los primeros temas de la banda nunca antes editados y que serían considerados para el primer disco de Puna. Actualmente presentan "Sukha" (2019) con la integración de nuevos músicos de la escena electrónica experimental peruana.
